Baltic VAG Festival to Unite Car Enthusiasts from the Baltics and Scandinavia

12 Jun, 2025, No comments

This summer, one of the largest car enthusiast events in the Baltics — the Baltic VAG Festival — will take place, gathering Volkswagen AG Group (VAG) car brand fans from across the Baltics, Scandinavia, and other countries.

This year, the festival will also feature a world premiere: the world’s first 360° 3D camera system will capture participants' vehicles in unique video formats. Each car owner will have the opportunity to create a visual story of their vehicle in a specially designed filming area created for this event.

Since 2019, the festival has been held in Salacgrīva at Kapteiņu Osta, now for the fourth time. This year, approximately 150 VAG vehicles and more than 400 visitors are expected — from restored classic cars to the latest technology flagships.

The festival program includes the Baltic VAG convoy from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, with car columns from all three Baltic states simultaneously heading to Salacgrīva, bringing together over one hundred enthusiasts. Throughout the festival day, various car competitions will take place, where the oldest, newest, best restored, and modified VAG vehicles will be judged. In addition, there will be a car calligraphy show, a strength competition, and the main award — "VAG THE BEST". Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit a spare parts market.

For families, the festival offers Angry Birds inflatable attractions, foam parties, a volleyball tournament, sponsor activities, as well as SUP board rentals and boat or yacht rides.

Baltic VAG Festival founder Mārtiņš Bokmanis emphasizes:
"Our goal is to promote the restoration of retro VAG cars and to create a united platform where visitors can experience both the oldest and newest models of the VAG Group, while enjoying quality leisure time with family, friends, and fellow car enthusiasts."

The Baltic VAG Festival has become an important meeting place for all who are passionate about Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ducati cars and motorcycles. This is not only a car show, but also a place to spend time in a positive and friendly atmosphere, share experiences, and enjoy a common passion for car culture.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Salacgrīva, at the seaside camping site “Kapteiņu Osta” from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Tickets are available at www.balticvagfest.com.
